You’ll be able to explore:

  • Canvas features, including the student-facing Canvas Notebook and new Peer Review tool
  • Hypothesis, for collaborative reading, annotation, and discussion
  • Panorama, for identifying and addressing accessibility issues in your Canvas course
  • Gemini Notebook (formerly NotebookLM), for working with course materials using AI
  • Audio description in MediaSpace, a new accessibility feature our staff have added to help make your videos more accessible
  • Google Sites, for student projects, portfolios, and other creative work

Each tool will be demonstrated three times in breakout rooms, so you can choose what’s most relevant to you. Spend more time with one or two tools, visit three different demonstrations, or move around to get a broader sense of what’s available.

You’ll leave with a better understanding of the teaching technologies available at PSU, what they can offer your students, and which ones might be a good fit for your course!
