Fall 2024 Waiver Period is OPEN from August 1st - October 13, 2024

Students are required to do one waiver per academic year if they have their own private insurance (including VA and OHP). An academic year starts each Fall term and ends after Summer session is complete. All students who attend PSU in Fall 2024 will need to do one new waiver for the 2024-25 academic year.

Access the Waiver

Please note that the waiver system updates every weekday morning so if you just registered for 5 or more credits you may need to wait an additional day to access the waiver.

Don't give up. You are not alone. YOU matter.

Care. Ask. Connect. Suicide Prevention Training

Become part of PSU’s campus-wide team of advocates for suicide prevention. Portland State students, in partnership with SHAC and the School of Social Work, developed an asynchronous suicide prevention training course called “Care. Ask. Connect.” By participating in this free 1-hour training, you can become a vital part of PSU’s movement to increase awareness around suicide prevention and mental health.

SHAC Anti Discrimination Statement

SHAC is committed to affirming and providing care for all of our students who have been directly or vicariously impacted by trauma and discrimination.
