Every November, we celebrate National Trans Awareness Month which honors, celebrates, and advocates for all trans and gender non conforming folks in our communities. At the QRC, we honor our community members through our Trans Empowerment, Resistance and Resilience Days.

What is TEMPRR?

Trans Empowerment Resistance and Resilience Days(TEMPRR) gives Trans and Gender Diverse students an opportunity to connect with one another and the wider Portland community. TEMPRR features student-led workshops, opportunities for identity-based organizing, fun activities, a tabling fair - and more! We have opportunities for organizers, workshop leaders, and for folks to join in sharing space. TEMPRR Days was established in 2017, to build community, connection, and learning opportunities for transgender, nonbinary and gender diverse students and community members. Want to learn more about TEMPRR and view archived information about past conferences? Click here to visit the TReC Hub.
