IN LOVING MEMORY OF DR. DOUG MORGAN
On Wednesday, October 21st, Dr. Doug Morgan, Professor Emeritus of Public Administration at Portland State University, passed away.
Doug was a cherished member of the Hatfield School community, a dedicated educator, a respected scholar, and a generous supporter of our students and programs. As one of the founding donors of the Morgan-Ellis Family Endowment, Doug played an important role in strengthening the Hatfield School's ability to support students and advance our mission of public service and making government stronger.
The Hatfield School staff and faculty will deeply miss Doug's wisdom, warmth, and unwavering commitment to the Hatfield School. He was not only a valued colleague but also a trusted friend whom one could always count on for thoughtful advice and encouragement. His generosity extended far beyond financial contributions—he gave his time, shared his ideas, and genuinely cared about the people and the future of the School. We were incredibly fortunate to have known and worked with him.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to Doug's family, friends, colleagues, and all those whose lives he touched. His legacy will continue through the students, colleagues, and communities he inspired and supported.

Doug, thank you for everything you have given to us. Your kindness, wisdom, and friendship have meant so much to the Hatfield School community. We will miss you dearly, and we will do our best to carry forward the values and commitment to public service that you held so dear.
