MSGSCM graduates will develop a habit of mind characterized by the comprehensive exploration of issues, ideas, artifacts, and events before accepting or formulating an opinion or conclusion.
Learning Objectives:
- Explanation of issues: Students will craft a clear and actionable problem statement that includes all contextual information.
- Evidence: Students will present primary and secondary data most relevant to the situation.
- Analysis: Students will apply appropriate methodology to produce an analysis that articulates insightful patterns.
- Conclusion: Students will propose solutions and make decisions based upon the analysis.
LG2: Systems Perspective
MSGSCM graduates will be able to recognize complex problems and understand them as multidimensional and interrelated and understand the impact on stakeholders.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify stakeholders and stakes: Students will identify relevant stakeholders in a supply chain issue and articulate their stakes.
- Recognizes interdependencies: Students will acknowledge the interdependencies between and among stakeholders from the perspective of the focal organization.
- Analyzes implications of decisions: Students will analyze the many implications that decisions have from multiple stakeholders’ points of view.
LG3: Emotional Intelligence
MSGSCM graduates will demonstrate effective leadership and teamwork skills, supported by high levels of emotional intelligence in the areas of self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, and social management.
