
Building Opportunities for You
Bridges is Portland State University's annual open house for high school students who are first generation or from ethnically diverse backgrounds who are exploring college opportunities.
Students who attend Bridges will learn more about the admissions process, financial Aid, Scholarships and how to be a successful student at PSU. A series of workshops and tours assists students in gathering essential information needing to make informed decisions about attending college.
When and Where
Bridges is Wednesday, November 18, 2009. Check-in begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Smith Memorial Student Union Ballroom (3rd floor), 1825 SW Broadway (see map). The event ends at approximately 2:30 p.m.

Thank to all who participated and volunteered for the 2009 Bridges Program. It turned out to be a successful event. We are currently in the planning stages for our 2010 events; stay tuned for further dates and information. We hope that you will consider participating in one of our upcoming Viking Visitation events, the first of which will
be held on February 15. Sign up for these events will begin in early December.
