Introduction
This standard defines the applicable guidelines, training, and support resources associated with designing accessible Digital Resources on behalf of Portland State University (PSU).
Purpose and Applicability
PSU’s Digital Accessibility Policy establishes the requirement for designing and managing accessible Digital Resources, in accordance with industry guidelines and federal law. This standard defines the specific digital accessibility guidelines to which designers and managers of Digital Resources must be accountable, per the Digital Accessibility Policy.

Standards and Procedures
All PSU Units are responsible for ensuring that Digital Resources designed and managed by their employees on behalf of PSU are accessible in accordance with WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA Success Criteria.
Training and Resources
Employees who design and manage Digital Resources on behalf of PSU are responsible for equipping themselves with the necessary knowledge and technical skills to meet WCAG 2.1 Level A and AA Success Criteria. In addition to reviewing WCAG, employees should reference all digital accessibility training and support resources in the PSU Help Center, along with any additional guidelines and resources pertinent to their work:

- Public-Facing Websites and Technologies
