Service Description
The Office of Information Technology (OIT) offers enterprise data storage for long-term file storage, and scratch file systems for temporary data-intensive computational work.
Service Details
- Enterprise network storage systems offer remote access and redundant systems with snapshots and off-site backups.
- Scratch (temporary) file systems are available to centrally-managed computational systems to support data intensive computing.

This service is available to the following groups:
Charges and Fees
Up to 2 TB of research share storage (per researcher) is available free of charge. Allocations beyond this cost $.35 per GB per year.
Note: unit multiples of data storage (e.g., MB, GB, TB) are intended to mean their versions based on powers of two: most precisely MiB, GiB, TiB, etc.
