Instructors are invited to Zoom Classroom Remote Training Sessions

Learn more about the Zoom Classroom technology in PSU’s General Pool Classrooms.

Are you an instructor who will be teaching on campus this fall? It’s likely been a while since you taught from a classroom!

All of PSU’s General Pool Classrooms are now equipped with Zoom Classroom technology, designed specifically to support new options for teaching such as “Attend Anywhere” and recording lectures.

Sign up for a training session this spring

The Office of Information Technology (OIT) is conducting remote training sessions for instructors who will be teaching in General Pool Classrooms in upcoming terms. Multiple training sessions will be offered this spring, on May 26 and June 3. The sessions will:

  • Introduce new Zoom Classroom features.
  • Suggest techniques for using the technology in multi-modal teaching.
  • Review best practices for other in-classroom technologies such as the projector and document camera.

Reservations are required and space is limited in these first sessions, so complete the Registration for Remote Classroom Training form today if you’re interested!

Additional training opportunities will be available

OIT will provide additional training sessions as we approach the fall term, and self-paced support materials will also be available.
