Service Description
A temporary, custom “branded” wireless network to be used by the attendees of an event hosted in the Smith Memorial Student Union (SMSU).
Service Details
OIT provides a custom WiFi network name (SSID) with a custom password (shared by all users) to be used in SMSU on specific days. Each Custom WiFi shares the same service level as the PSU Guest wireless network; OIT makes no guarantee of bandwidth or user capacity.
OIT will activate and test the Custom WiFi to ensure proper operation. User support (helping event attendees connect to the Custom WiFi, troubleshooting technical issues, etc.) is the responsibility of the Customer.
Requests for Custom WiFi must be received at least 10 business days before start time. Custom WiFi is only available during the hosted event, up to a maximum of 14 days.

This service is available to the following groups:
- Non-PSU entities hosting events in SMSU
Charges and Fees
Each Custom WiFi network costs $275.
