Technology resources, including laptops, are available for you!

Kirk Kelly, Vice President for Information Technology and Chief Information Officer

Dear Students,

Do you have all the technology you need to be successful during the Remote Spring Term? Here are some resources for you!

Laptops and other resources to check out from the Library

You can check out technology resources and have equipment mailed to you from the Library. Visit the Laptops & Equipment page to learn more about the following:

  • Laptop lending program - It’s now possible to check out a laptop for all of Spring term.
  • Headphones, headsets, and other equipment lending program - A range of other equipment is also available to check out for all of Spring term.

Mobile Wi-Fi hotspot

We have portable Wi-Fi hotspots on order, but they won’t arrive until mid-April. Once we receive them, they will also be available from the library for checkout. Meanwhile, other options available for free or low-cost internet access are listed in the Student guide to learning remotely.

VLAB (New!)

With the new Virtual Computer Lab (VLAB) you can access a selection of academic software applications with your personal laptop or desktop computer.

Other important resources

  • Student guide to learning remotely - We’ve created this student-oriented guide to help you find information related to remote learning. You can find the guide at go.pdx.edu/remote-classwork.
  • myPSU - Remember that myPSU is the central hub for you to find everything you need for the business of being a student.
