An Enhanced myPSU Replaces Banweb for Students

a computer screen with construction equipment around it moving features on the website around.

We are pleased to share that myPSU has been upgraded to be an improved central hub for students to access digital resources such as: class schedules, grades, account balances, financial aid information, and links to other resources and school tools. This allows us to move the student experience out of Banweb, and eventually students will no longer be able to login directly to Banweb. We are making this change for several reasons:

  1. We want to simplify the student experience with fewer “portals”, a more modern look and feel, and a more intuitive name
  2. myPSU is fully customizable, which makes it flexible and more future proof
  3. The technology underlying Banweb will no longer be supported by the vendor as of March 2024

If you support students in your role, you can help with this transition by directing students to myPSU instead of Banweb, and by updating any content that contains references to Banweb (documentation, web pages, PDFs, syllabi, video tutorials, etc.). Banweb will still be available to students throughout the Fall 2023 term, but we hope to see the vast majority of students using myPSU as a result of communication and content updates.

Faculty and staff will continue to use Banweb for now, and we will have more information to share on the changes coming to the employee experience later this year.
