2026 Regional Primary Elections Timeline

State of Oregon

  • October 13: Voter Registration Deadline
    • Registration cards postmarked by October 13 or submitted online no later than 11:59 pm are valid.
  • October 14: First day ballots are mailed to voters
  • November 3: Election Day
    • County Clerk's office open 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
    •  Last day for voters to return ballots.
    • Ballots that are mailed must be postmarked by election day.
    • Ballots deposited in an official drop box must be received by 8 pm on election day.

State of Washington

  • Voter Registration Deadline
    • October 26: Online and mail registrations
      • Deadline to vote online and by mail is 8 days before the election.
    • November 3: In-person registration deadline
      • Eligible voters may register to vote in person during business hours and any time before 8pm on Election Day
  • October 16: Ballots mailed to voters 
  • November 3: Election Day
    • Ballots must be received by 8pm on Election Day or postmarked by Election Day.

Our goal is to ensure that all PSU community members have the tools they need to register to vote and can access information about upcoming local, statewide, and national elections.
