Banner is the university’s secure database that processes and stores administrative information such as enrollment, grades, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial aid.

Administrative access to Banner forms for data entry and querying is restricted to employees with job responsibilities requiring such access.

Using Banner

With your browser of choice, go to Banner ( and sign in using your Odin username and password.

An alternative way to access Banner is through RemoteApp. RemoteApp is quick to set up, and allows you to run Banner more efficiently from older machines, such as computers with less than 16GB of RAM. RemoteApp can be useful for people who are using a computer not managed by OIT. For more information on using RemoteApp, visit RemoteApp for Enterprise Applications.

Requesting Banner Access

University employees may request or modify their access to Banner by submitting a Role-Based Access Request (RBAR).
