Younghyun Kim profile picture with ocean background

I first joined ISP through the English Through Sustainability & Service Learning program, where I not only improved my English but also came to appreciate Portland’s eco-friendly neighborhoods and its warm, community-focused atmosphere.
Through the volunteer activities, I met many kind and open-hearted people, which made me think how meaningful it would be to spend part of my undergraduate studies here.
After returning to Korea, I continued studying English and worked hard to improve my scores, and those efforts eventually brought me back to PSU. I spent a year at PSU where I took courses like Introduction to Web Development. I’m especially interested in creating user-friendly websites and applications. In the future, I hope to work in a global tech environment where I can collaborate with people from diverse backgrounds and grow through real-world projects
