Sanjay Gurung is a development professional with over 21+ years of experience in conceptualizing, designing, managing, and monitoring nonprofit-led development initiatives locally and globally. He has been strategizing and leading teams to support global, regional and national organizations’ led development and humanitarian initiatives in countries as diverse as DRC, Nepal, Sudan, South Sudan, Libya, Myanmar, Uganda, India, Niger, Liberia, Kenya, Somalia, Ethiopia, Iraq, Mongolia, United States, and Colombia. He has worked extensively on both governmental and non governmental institutional capacity building, as well as in the areas of systems resilience, climate, behavioral governance, natural resource management, disaster risk reduction, water security, and the nexus of climate change, conflict, and governance. He has an in-depth understanding of inter-sectoral approach to systems change.
