Welcome to The Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) at Portland State University. LSAMP is dedicated to enhancing the undergraduate experience for underrepresented students in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) fields of study. It provides activities, events, and opportunities for students at Portland State University and Portland Community College.

This unique five year grant, funded through the National Science Foundation, is focused on the following:

  • Creating a community among LSAMP scholars that values excellence, diversity, and persistence
  • Expanding opportunities for LSAMP scholars through participation in undergraduate research experiences and leadership initiatives
  • Developing a comprehensive strategy for success that supports LSAMP scholars

The Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) Center is located on the PSU Campus at 1721 SW Broadway, Portland, OR 97201, Cramer Hall, Room 345.

LSAMP Hours:
Monday - Friday: 10:00AM - 5:00PM.
