Opportunities only in Honors

The Honors Writing Center, specifically for Honors students, is where students come as a community to talk about writing. Our peer-to-peer model takes some of the pressure off that process by creating a space that makes it easier for students to develop their own particular style and prose. 

The Honors College offers several unique opportunities for Honors students to take on leadership positions in the Honors community; student leaders are compensated with tuition scholarships. Most applications open in spring term for the following academic year. 

There are many scholarships available only to students in the Honors College.  The Honors Laurels Scholarship is awarded to students when they apply.  Students who apply to the Honors College before January 1 with plans to start fall term are automatically considered. There is not a separate application.
