Assistant Professor of Practice, Electrical and Computer Engineering
Prior to joining Portland State, Yuchen Huang spent 21 years at Intel Corporation, where she served as a senior staff engineer, contributing to key product development and the industry adoption of technologies, standards, specifications and methodologies.
Huang has extensive experience in platform design and power management architecture. She led the development of Intel’s Converged Platform Power Thermal Throttling Specification that maximizes re-usability across CPU generations and computing segments. Huang was also the recipient of 20+ Intel Corporation awards for contributions to major product and industry initiatives.
