Marc Rodriguez has expertise in social movements, protest movements, U.S. legal and constitutional history as well as immigration and labor relations. He teaches a comparative social movements class that covers the comparative history of the Black power, the New Left and Chicanx/Latinx social movements.

Rodriguez is also a scholar of Latino/a labor, immigration history and migration in comparative perspective. He serves as editor of a leading scholarly journal and has extensive experience in academic publishing.
