Associate Professor, Russian
Cassio de Oliveira is an Associate Professor of Russian in the Department of World Languages and Literatures. He teaches courses in Russian language, literature, and culture, especially film, translation studies, and European Studies.
De Oliveira’s research interests include Soviet literature from the 1920s and 1930s, Russian film, and translation studies. He has published articles in the Slavic and East European Journal, Russian Literature, Tolstoy Studies Journal, Canadian Slavonic Papers, Slavonica, and Studies in Slavic Cultures, among other venues.
