We’re excited to welcome you to celebrate your graduate’s achievements at PSU Commencement 2026. Here’s how to make the most of your experience.
Ticketing and Seating
All guests, including children three years and older, must present a digital ticket for entry. Seating is general admission, first-come, first-served. No re-entry is allowed once inside.
Arrival and Access
Doors open 45 minutes before each ceremony. Guests should use the east entrance along the Park Blocks. Accessible seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis, with one ADA seat and one companion seat per guest.
Accessibility (ADA)
Arrival: Use the Southeast Entrance (at corner of SW College and SW Park)
Seating: Doors open one hour in advance for ADA seating. First-come, first-served. One companion seat per ADA Accessible guest ticket. Companion must have a general admission guest ticket.
Devices: PSU does not provide wheelchairs, scooters, or other mobility devices for guests during Commencement. Guests are strongly encouraged to bring their own wheelchair or other personal mobility device. If a guest is unable to bring their own, we recommend arranging for a rental from a local medical equipment provider in the Portland area well in advance of your arrival.

ADA Parking is available in all PSU lots and garages. See Hourly & Visitor Parking.

Services: ASL interpreters and closed captioning will be provided.
Family-Friendly Area
For parents, guardians, or families who may be attending a commencement ceremony with their children, we offer a family-friendly area on the North Concourse. Families are welcome to lounge or take a break in an unstaffed space with soft furniture. Childcare is not provided. Please note that children must be supervised by an adult while in the space at all times.
Quiet Space
A quiet space is provided for meditation, prayer, or sensory needs downstairs in room 122. Sensory kits are available at guest services.
Parking and Transportation
We encourage you to use public transit — TriMet — or carpool.
Limited paid parking is available in Parking Structures 1 for a flat rate of $10 with overflow in the University Center Building lot next door.

After the Ceremony
Celebrate with your graduate outside Viking Pavilion in the Park Blocks. Head to the exterior windows of nearby Fariborz Maseeh Hall to snap selfies with your graduate in front of our special commencement backdrops while your graduate is still sporting their regalia.

Can’t make it in person? Watch a livestream of the ceremony on the PSU Commencement website. Recordings will also be available online.
