Information for Guests

We’re excited to welcome you to celebrate your graduate’s achievements at PSU Commencement 2025. Here’s how to make the most of your experience.

Ticketing and Seating

All guests, including children three years and older, must present a digital ticket for entry. Seating is general admission, first-come, first-served. No re-entry is allowed once inside.

Arrival and Access

Doors open one hour before each ceremony. Guests should use the east entrance along the Park Blocks. Accessible seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis, with one ADA seat and one companion seat per guest.

Family-Friendly Room

For parents, guardians, or families who may be attending a commencement ceremony with their children, we offer a family-friendly room with toys, activities, and a livestream of the event. Families are welcome to lounge or take a break in the family-friendly room. This space is staffed by PSU's Services for Students with Children (SSWC). However, childcare is not provided. Please note that children must be supervised by an adult while in the space at all times.

Parking and Transportation

We encourage you to use public transit — TriMet — or carpool. Limited parking is available in Parking Structure 1 and Parking Structure 3.

After the Ceremony

Celebrate with your graduate outside Viking Pavilion in the Park Blocks.

Livestream and Recording

Can’t make it in person? Watch a livestream of the ceremony on the PSU Commencement website. Recordings will also be available online.
