What is CIEL?
The Center for International & English Learning (CIEL) is part of Portland State University's Office of Global Engagement & Innovation. CIEL is the academic wing of PSU's international programming and we offer a variety of services to meet the needs of our partners and students. We offer inbound study abroad via the Portland Center (formerly Waseda Transnational Programs), where students study from one to four terms, and International Special Programs, which offers a variety of programming, including custom options, from as little as one week up to two months in duration.
