The Office of Academic Innovation (OAI) is forming a new working group to evaluate academic integrity platforms, with a focus on plagiarism detection tools. This group will play a key role in assessing the university’s current needs, reviewing the effectiveness of our existing platform, Turnitin, and exploring whether other tools might better support the academic integrity of PSU’s students and faculty.

As we continue to prioritize a culture of honesty and originality, OAI recognizes the importance of having robust, reliable tools that address the evolving needs of our community. This working group will provide a collaborative space to discuss both the benefits and challenges of the tools we use. Participants will have the opportunity to share feedback and insights that will directly inform PSU’s next steps in supporting academic integrity across campus.
