InnovAIte Academy Launches First Cohort to Advance Generative AI Learning at PSU
Portland State University’s InnovAIte Academy will host its inaugural InnovAIte Symposium on October 31, marking the culmination of the program’s first cohort. Building on the success of this launch, PSU is now opening applications for a second cohort, which will run from November 2025 through April 2026!
The InnovAIte Academy is designed to empower PSU faculty and staff to harness the potential of Generative AI across research, teaching, and university operations. Through hands-on learning and cross-disciplinary collaboration, participants explore how emerging AI tools can enhance innovation and efficiency within their fields.
The second cohort will include 100 participants across three program tracks: Research, Teaching, and Operations. Applications are now open and will be reviewed on a rolling basis, with strong interest anticipated from departments across campus. For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to submit materials by November 5, 2025.
The application process takes approximately 10–15 minutes and includes a brief statement of interest outlining the applicant’s goals for participating in the program.
