Try AI with OAI

Thursday November 14th 2024 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Do you *still* feel nervous (or cringe) when you hear terms like “Artificial Intelligence” and “Generative AI”? If you have yet to try it out—but are curious—join us for a brown bag lunch with other faculty to experiment with AI tools and platforms in a low-pressure, it’s-okay-to-make-mistakes environment. We’ll chat about leveraging AI for teaching, and will share examples and strategies focused on saving you time, innovating processes, and fostering student outcomes. Though all tools can be used for both harm and help, let’s try together to see how we can best use AI for good.

This is an in-person event! Please bring your lunch and join us at the Office of Acadmic Innovation in Smith Memorial Student Union for an hour of experimentation together!
