Teaching is hard work, and students have complicated lives outside of class. Faculty face many teaching decisions, including how to incorporate flexibility and accessibility, while making things manageable for themselves as well. All of this was true before the pandemic, but transitioning to teaching after the pandemic has made some challenges more difficult to ignore, at the same time highlighting new ones. Are you experiencing changes in students’ responses to expectations, assignments or activities? Have you changed some of your approaches to teaching? Have students’ needs changed? If so, are these changes isolating, exhausting, or exhilarating (or all three?) What are the opportunities to be found in post-pandemic higher education?

Join us for a session that makes space for faculty to hear from others who have responded to changing classroom expectations, and hear evidence-based ideas for tackling challenges postsecondary educators are facing now.
