Planning Club

Planning Club's purpose is to create a forum for discussion on current planning issues; encourage and facilitate communication between current students and faculty in the School of Urban Studies and Planning, alumni, PSU and the greater Portland community; and generate opportunities for professional development for students and the community. The Club strives to create a forum for discourse on current planning and academic issues, and professional opportunities.

Students in Transportation, Engineering and Planning (STEP)

STEP serves all students interested in the fields of transportation engineering and planning and would like to create a supportive and interactive environment for students to advance their knowledge and understanding.  STEP seeks to create a bridge between students pursuing these related disciplines, practicing transportation professionals, and the community. STEP will create these interactions by facilitating student conference attendance, sponsoring social and networking activities, organizing conferences and field trips, and conducting practical work in the field.

Students Addressing Urban and Community Issues (SAUCI)

Organized by students in the school’s Master of Urban Studies and Urban Studies PhD programs, but open to MURP students. The group focuses on issues of urban and community development, sustainability, equity and social justice.
