What do you plan to do with your fluency in Russian?
I would like to work for education or other child-focused NGOs in Russia.

What attracted you to RFP?
I was attracted by the program’s stated mission, to produce students with very high ability in the language.

What’s the best aspect of being in RFP?
From my experience so far, I think the atmosphere of potential is what has impressed me the most. The class I am in is small and the students have a desire to improve their skills and so they do the work that’s required. The standard was set rather quickly and as long as we maintain that group standard, I think we will also be able to raise our level of expectation quickly.

Why is fluency in Russian important to you?
I have always wanted to be fluent in at least one other language aside from English. Russian was the one I chose a long time ago. I have described it to those who’ve asked as being beautiful, musical, and poetic. I have a great desire to be able, not only to understand but also to use the poetry of this language.
