What do you plan to do with your fluency in Russian?
I am undecided. Perhaps I will join a federal agency. I am interested in both international ethics, and cultures on a smaller, more local scale.

What attracted you to the Flagship program?
Flagship seemed like an opportunity to learn a language in an accelerated way with the individual attention that you don’t see in the average language department.

What’s the best aspect of being in the PSU Flagship program?
The program has a great sense of community. The advanced students work with the beginner students in various ways and all of the teachers are very involved.

Why is fluency in Russian important to you?
I think that fluency in a second language is a great asset career-wise and in general, and I have a great interest in Russian history and literature.
