History & Milestones

Campus Rec has come a long way since a new facility was proposed in 1987. Explore Campus Rec's history and milestones throughout the years─from the demolition of the former Portland Center for Advanced Technology (PCAT) building in 2007, to the grand opening of the Academic & Student Recreation Center (ASRC) in 2010, to our 10-year anniversary celebration in 2020.

Data & Reports

Campus Rec engages in systematic assessment and continuous improvement to meet the needs of our users. To measure our success in meeting the goals of our strategic plan, we collect and examine multiple data points which undergo various stakeholder reviews. Below is a summary of our ongoing organizational assessment work.

Annual Report

Member Survey

The annual member survey informs our strategic plan goals by asking members about the impact Campus Rec makes in their lives.  The member survey runs on a biannual cycle of every other year surveying all members, and the in-between years surveying a targeted subset of members.

View the Member Survey Action Report outlining actions taken in response to survey feedback.
