Cornel Pewewardy receives National Indian Education award
Cornel Pewewardy, Native American Studies faculty, will receive an award from the National Indian Education Association at its 40th annual convention in Milwaukee, Oct. 22-25, for "changing and improving the lives Native school children and impacting the dialog concerning Native education issues, both locally and nationally."
