Registering your bicycle provides Portland State with a valid record of your bike's physical description and unique serial number. In the event that your bike is lost or stolen, we have an increased likelihood of identifying and returning it to you. Registering your bike can also be helpful for filing a claim with your insurance company. There are other amazing organizations that you can register your bike with too!
NOTE: You will need your bike's serial number in order to register it online. Check out the helpful diagram above for possible locations where the serial number may be located on your bicycle frame.
