A SPACE FOR MEETING, STUDYING 
AND COMMUNITY LEARNING

On the 7th floor of PSU's Urban Center, there is a quiet, light-filled space where students and staff are free to study, meet, collaborate and educate. In Fall term, this space will be open to students on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays and reservable by CUPA faculty and staff on Thursdays and Fridays for events and meetings. Head to the 7th floor of the Urban Center for some of the best city views on campus!

ABOUT THE TOULAN LIBRARY

The transformation of this space was the result of a student-led charette that identified the need for a place in the Urban Center where students could collaborate and host events geared toward community learning.

ABOUT DIRCE MORONI TOULAN

The library's namesake, Dirce Mornoi Toulan, was a Fulbright Scholar and architect who moved from Argentina to Philadelphia in 1961 to become a city planner. Once in Portland, she was committed to the growth and development of the College and led the effort to develop the library that now bears her name.
