Student Media Marketing Manager

The Student Media Marketing Manager, under supervision of the Technology Advisor, works with our organizations to fulfill marketing needs. The typical work week is 10 hours at $12.50/hour. Students must be able to commit to a set weekly schedule for each term.

Job Duties:

  • Develop multimedia marketing campaigns using student media outlets to enhance our brand awareness on and around campus.
  • Create content for departmental websites, brochures, flyers, and other avenues of information dissemination.
  • Communicate with Student Media leaders and various PSU offices as needed to facilitate campaigns.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Candidates must be PSU students taking 6 credit hours (5 credit hours for grad students) or more with an institutional GPA or 2.5 or higher. Students must maintain a minimum 2.5 institutional GPA and a 2.5 GPA each term to remain eligible. Students do not have to be enrolled for credits during the summer term, but they must still officially be on record as current PSU students. If students do take coursework over the summer, they must maintain the minimum institutional GPA and term GPA.

No experience is necessary, but a track record of demonstrated responsibility and familiarity with Student Media is preferred. The position starts immediately upon hire and is renewable each term, contingent on eligibility, performance, and available funding.
