A 2012 partnership between the City of Portland, its Development Commission and PSU, this report on the elements of a Education urban renewal area was an effort to foster targeted development that would benefit Portland State...and through the associated growth of the university district...the citizens of this region.

It is about progress

This is PSU's first Economic Development report, completed in 2009.  Its production was a collaboration of PSU's college Deans, the Campus Economic Planning Advisory Committee and ECONorthwest. 

Recommendations from this report initiated the restructure of PSU's Research department, spawned the Office of Strategic Partnerships and elevated the economic development function of the university to the level of the President's executive committee.
