The Native American Student & Community Center (NASCC) Programming Team is supervised by the NASCC Assistant Director and a small group of student staff members. The Programming Team needs two Student Programming & Event Leads (SPELs) and one Programming Team Member at minimum.
As a student on this team, you meet weekly to design programs that uplift Native American, Alaska Native, Pacific Islander, and other Indigenous voices on campus. You’ll collaborate with departments across PSU and with community organizations to create events that support Indigenous student belonging, connection, and retention.
You’ll be part of a tight-knit team that:
- Creates meaningful cultural programs
- Builds relationships with Indigenous communities
- Supports student success and retention
- Gains hands-on experience in leadership, communication, and event production
It’s a role where your creativity, cultural knowledge and voice directly shape the programming at NASCC.
