DR. ALEX SAGER
Alex Sager is Professor of Philosophy and University Studies at Portland State University. He is a social and political philosopher who writes primarily on the philosophy of migration. His books include Against Borders: Why the People of the World Need Free Movement (Off the Fence Series: Rowman & Littlefield International, 2020, Choice Outstanding Academic Title 2020) and Toward a Cosmopolitan Ethics of Mobility: The Migrant’s Eye View (Palgrave Pivot, 2018). He is a member of the Board of Directors for Broadview Press and serves on the editorial board for Off the Fence: Morality, Politics, and Society (Rowman & Littlefield). He is the incoming Secretary-Treasurer for the American Philosophical Association, Pacific Division.
