On-Campus Event Support

Materials Management is not the primary contact for on-campus events, and only supports CESO. If you are planning or scheduling an event, please contact Smith Conferences & Events Services prior to requesting furniture from Materials Management.

Rental Costs

Rental costs are assessed per item, per day. Cost includes pickup and drop-off of tables only; customer is expected to perform their own setup and breakdown. Labor fees of $28.00/hr per student worker ($44.00/hr per manager) may be assessed if MMS staff is asked to perform setup or breakdown.

  • Tables (any type) - $12.00 each
  • Chairs (any type) - $1.25 each
  • Tents - $10.00 each

FAQs

  • MMS only operates between the hours of 800a-400p, M-F.
  • Rentals for events outside of normal business hours will be delivered before the end of the requested day. 
  • If your event is scheduled to end after our normal business hours have concluded the rented equipment will be picked up the next business day.
  • MMS does not have tablecloths available for rental. Customer must provide their own tablecloths/linens.
  • Customers with outdoor events which take place on weekends or outside of our normal business hours will be required to secure them until we are able to pick them up the next business day.
  • MMS only bills for the days you actually use our equipment (i.e. your event is scheduled for Friday only, but ends after we have closed you will not be billed for Saturday/Sunday)
