Linkages Among Pre-Colonial People, Lamprey, and Landscapes in the Willamette Valley: Pilot Study to Identify Key Questions, Develop Methodology, and Initiate Data Collection.

Willamette Basin Lamprey Linkages Pilot Project

What are your primary responsibilities/roles of your research position? 

Georeferencing and GIS applications.

What skills have you gained from your research experience? 

Boolean searches and georeferencing! Working with a federal organization also taught me to learn and apply new GIS techniques.

What aspects of your project have you enjoyed the most?

Working with a passionate cohort and the learning that came from it!

What are your academic and/or career aspirations after graduation? 

Pursuing employment with projects for/by Indigenous people

What's your favorite way to use or interact with water?

My favorite way to interact with water is fishing.
