What are your primary responsibilities/roles of your research position?
Data analyst in data management and digitization working with conservation data.
What have you learned or hope to learn from this experience? Have you gained any new skills?
I have learned a lot about public outreach, data post-processing, and working within non-governmental and governmental organizations.
What aspects of your project have you enjoyed the most?
I enjoy modernizing and improving access to data for researchers and the public alike.
What are your academic and/or career aspirations after graduation?
After graduation, I hope to work in sustainability as an environmental engineer, especially as it relates to living buildings.
What's your favorite way to use or interact with the natural world?
My favorite way of interacting with the natural world is backpacking. I've been backpacking since I was 3 with my family and love to hike and stay in remote parts of the world!
