Lynn Green, Interim Director of PSU's Helen Gordon Child Development Center, was named to the position in a permanent capacity. Kimberly Kahn, Psychology faculty; Kris Henning, and Katie Wuschke, Criminal Justice faculty, received the Portland Police Bureau Achievement Medal for their work on community policing. Sarah Myers, Oregon Center of Career Development in Childhood Care and Education faculty, was named the center’s director. Deborah S. Peterson, Education faculty emerita, received a 2022 David G. Imig Distinguished Service Award from the Carnegie Project on the Education Doctorate and was honored at the organization’s conference Oct.12-14 in Pittsburgh.
