Her research focuses on early childhood education, bilingualism, and family engagement, particularly among Latine families. She specializes in co-design research, working with communities to develop culturally sustaining educational interventions. With extensive experience in bilingual education, she examines how home learning environments and family engagement influence young children’s math learning. She has led multiple grant-funded projects, including developing digital media tools to support dual-language learners. Previously, she served as the Early Childhood Director at PBS SoCal, where she created digital resources and co-designed educational interventions with families and educators.
