Dr. Bleiler brings four decades of experience as a research mathematician. Classically trained as a topologist, his knot theoretic and 3-manifold research from the 1980s and '90s is currently finding a new renaissance in the emerging area of topological quantum computation. He has been engaged in the investigation of quantum computation, information, and games for two decades now.
