Senior Instructor, Computer Science
Karla Steinbrugge Fant is responsible for introductory and advanced courses in C++, C, Data Structures, and Java. She is the course coordinator for the 100-level computer science courses, teaches three courses a term for the department, and works with local high school computer science programs to offer college credit.
Her master's thesis was on improving the current process of scheduling engineering classes using genetic algorithms. She is the founder of GRAPHIK Dimensions Northwest, responsible for computer graphics standards and high-resolution graphics.
