  1. Heejun Chang, geography faculty, co-authored a paper titled “Understanding Urban Flood Resilience in the Anthropocene: A Social-Ecological-Technological Systems (SETS) Learning Framework,” published in Annals of the American Association of Geographers.
  2. Heejun Chang, geography faculty; Yasuyo Makido, geography adjunct faculty; and Eugene Foster, environmental sciences and management adjunct faculty, co-authored a paper titled “Effects of Land Use Change, Wetland Fragmentation and Best Management Practices on Total Suspended Sediment Concentrations in an Urbanizing Oregon Watershed, USA,” published in the Journal of Environmental Management  Volume 282, Article number 111962. 
  3. Sarah Dys, Institute on Aging research assistant and OHSU-PSU School of Public Health doctoral candidate; Ozcan Tunalilar, urban studies and Institute on Aging faculty; and Paula Carder, OHSU-PSU School of Public Health faculty and director of the Institute on Aging, co-authored “Cognition-enhancing, Antipsychotic, and Opioid Medication Use Among Assisted Living and Residential Care Residents in Oregon,” published in the Journal of American Medical Directors Association.
  4. Tom Gillpatrick, business faculty, published “Thermal Comfort: An Intercultural Comparison” in the Journal of Global Scholars of Marketing Science. 
  5. Paul Manson, public affairs and policy PhD student; Max Nielsen-Pincus, environmental science and management faculty; Elise Granek, environmental science and management faculty; and Tommy Swearingen, Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife Marine Reserves Program Human Dimensions research project leader, co-authored “Public Perceptions of Marine Protected Areas: Drivers of Support for Oregon’s Marine Reserves,” published in Ocean and Coastal Management.
  6. Jack Straton, physics and university studies faculty, had one of his photographs chosen to be part of “Exhibizone Smart Group Exhibition — Fall 2020,” an international joint show of all fine art media, from Dec. 4 through Jan. 30.
