Spring presented
  1. Jola Ajibade, Geography faculty, gave a seminar talk on “Challenges to Implementing Managed Retreat in the Global South and Global North” on April 19 at Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
  2. Christine Cress, Education faculty, co-presented “Ethical Dilemmas in Community Engaged Partnerships: Strategies for Critical Reciprocity” in a keynote address for NW5 Community Engagement Faculty Consortium on April 14.
  3. Todd Harwell, University Honors College faculty, presented a paper titled “Exploring Queer and Science Identities of LGBTQ+ Community and Citizen Science Participants” at the international conference for the National Association of Research in Science Teaching on April 20 in Chicago. 
  4. Kimberly Kahn, Psychology faculty, gave a talk titled “The Psychology of Racial Bias in Policing” as the Psi Chi Distinguished Lecturer at the Rocky Mountain Psychological Association Meeting in Albuquerque, New Mexico. 
  5. Carlos Mena, Business faculty, presented “Breaking Bad: How Can Supply Chain Management Better Address Illegal Supply Chains?” on March 31 at Royal Holloway – University of London. 
  6. Cassio de Oliveira, World Languages and Literatures, participated in a new book roundtable on the book “How the Soviet Jew Was Made” at the 2023 Russian, East European and Central Asian Studies Northwest Conference on April 21 at the University of Washington in Seattle. 
  7. John Ott, History faculty, was a panelist for “Innovations on the Pedagogy of Christianity: Teaching Medieval Christianity to Modern Student Audiences” at the Meeting of the Medieval Association of the Pacific and delivered a paper titled “An Unremarked Canonical Collection of ca. 1100 from La Sauve-Majeure and the Collectio Sinemuriensis.”
