  1. Jon Holt, Japanese, World Languages and Literatures faculty, presented a paper entitled “Ishinomori as Hokusai, Hokusai as Ishinomori: The Great Artist Re-imagined in Manga,” at International Comics Arts Forum (ICAF), San Diego. April 11, 2025.
  2. Betty Izumi, OHSU-PSU School of Public Health faculty, and Thomas Keller, School of Social Work faculty and Director of Center for Internships, Mentoring & Research presented, "Bridging Horizons: Co-Creating Pathways of Opportunity for AAPI Students in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands" at the annual Asian Pacific American in Higher Education (APAHE) Conference in Oakland, CA on April 11, 2025.

Keith Walters, Applied Linguistics Emeritus faculty, presented "Checkpoints: Relational accountability in surveilled Arabic spaces" with Rima Elabdali, PSU Applied Linguistics alumna, at the American Association for Applied Linguistics meeting in Denver, April 24. He also presented a public lecture on "Language, Sex, Gender, and Sexuality: A sociolinguistic perspective" at Furman University, Greenville, SC on April 3.
