Frank Granshaw, Geology faculty, has been selected by AGU (American Geophysical Union) to help advise on science policy, including to congress this Spring.

Elise Granek, Environmental Sciences and Management faculty, was interviewed on the findings from the study they co-authored “From the ocean to our kitchen table: anthropogenic particles in the edible tissue of U.S. West Coast seafood species” by the following outlets: Fox 12, The Oregonian, Spectroscopy Online, Packaging Insights, KATU News.

Pronoy Rai, Geography faculty, will chair the Awards Committee of the American Association of Geographers in 2025-26.

Lillian Martz, Counselor Education faculty, was selected as an Association of Humanistic Counseling Emerging Leader in the new professional category at the AHC conference in April in Tampa, FL.
